6 MISSING AFTER FLOOD IN CENTRAL MYANMAR
YANGON, Myanmar Six school children have been reported missing in a flood which occurred in central Myanmar, Xinhua news agency reported, citing local media.
According to The Global New Light of Myanmar, the four boys and two girls, were caught in a strong current on Friday when crossing a flooded creek in Saw township, Magway Region.
Another school girl was found alive in the incident.
A search and rescue operation has been underway for the six missing.
