COVID-19 Cases Increase To 142,393 In Myanmar
The number of COVID-19 cases in Myanmar has increased to 142,393, as of yesterday, according to a release from the Ministry of Health and Sports.
A total of eight new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country yesterday, with no new death reported, leaving the death toll at 3,206.
According to the ministry’s figures, a total of 131,790 patients have been discharged from hospitals, and over 2.53 million samples have been tested for COVID-19.
A total of 1,109 samples were tested for COVID-19 yesterday, down from around 10,000 samples tested daily since early Feb.
Myanmar detected its first two positive cases of COVID-19 on Mar 23, last year.–
