The National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) will organise the Sihanoukville International Half Marathon 2023 on April 2 at O\u2019 Chheuteal Beach in Preah Sihanouk province under the theme \u201cRun for protecting the nature, saving our globe and the well-being of mankind!\u201d<\/P>
<\/P>
The news was shared by H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of NOCC and the Cambodian SEA Games-ASEAN Para Games Committees (CAMSOC-CAMAPGOC) in a press conference in Phnom Penh recently.<\/P>
<\/P>
The event also aims to congratulate the Cambodia’s hosting role of the 32nd SEA Games and the 12th ASEAN Para Games in May and June respectively.<\/P>
<\/P>
It will help promote tourism, green environment, and beautiful beaches in Preah Sihanouk as well as to mobilise fund for charity work, said H.E. Vath Chamroeun.<\/P>
<\/P>
The Sihanoukville International Half Marathon 2023, the 8th of its kind, will be a mechanism to attract more national and international tourists and to develop Cambodia’s sports.<\/P>
<\/P>
To date, approximately 1,000 runners have registered for the tournament, and of them 100 are foreign runners from 24 countries, mainly China, Malaysia, and Thailand.<\/P>
<\/P>
There will be four races including 21, 10, 5 and 3 kilometre running.<\/P>
