AKP Phnom Penh, September 05, 2023 — A delegation of 3,257 coaches, athletes, and sports officials from Cambodia’s 25 capital and provinces is joining the National Secondary School Games 2023.
The tournament was officially opened on Sept. 3 at Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh under the presidency of H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) and Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports.
To last until Sept. 11, the sports event organised by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports includes 12 kinds of sports in 105 disciplines competing for 716 medals.
A similar competition was also organised from Aug. 13 to 21, with the participation of 2,600 coaches, athletes, and sports officials from 25 capital and provinces of Cambodia to compete in 10 sports types in 51 disciplines challenging for 531 medals.
