Cambodia, China Exchange Views and Experience on Civil Service Leadership and Management


Cambodia and China have exchanged views and experience on civil service leadership and management, as well as information on topics related to public administration system of both countries.

The discussion took place between H.E. HUN Many, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service, and H.E. Li Ganjie, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and head of the CPC Central Committee’s Organisation Department, on Aug. 26 in China, according to a press release of the Ministry of Civil Service issued this noon.

On the occasion, H.E. HUN Many recalled the close collaboration between Cambodia’s Ministry of Civil Service and China’s Ministry of Civil Affairs through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the field of civil service management and the continuation of the MoU through meetings between the leaders of government institutions, the implementation of ICT development projects, and Cambodian resource capacity building.

g, H.E. HUN Many and H.E. Li Ganjie witnessed the signing of MoU between Cambodia’s Royal School of Administration and China Executive Leadership Academy in Pudong whose aim was to define the areas of cooperation of both countries in education, research, innovation and human resource development.

H.E. HUN Many has been on a five-day visit to China, from Aug. 26 to 30, to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between Cambodia’s Ministry of Civil Service and China’s Ministry of Civil Affairs, and unite to implement action plan of building Cambodia-China Community with a shared future in the new era.
