Cambodia, Trkiye Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

Cambodia and Turkey have discussed bilateral collaboration between the two countries, according to Anadolou news agency.

The discussion took place between H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Turkish Vice President H.E. Cevdet Yilmaz in Ankara, on May 29 during the former’s official visit to Trkiye.

The two also discussed the regional and global issues; and evaluated what needs to be done to achieve the target of US$1 billion of trade volume set by the two governments.

H.E. Cevdet Yilmaz said it is the 65th anniversary of bilateral relations between the two countries, adding that “Trkiye attaches great importance to increasing bilateral relations in different fields, especially culture and tourism.”

He hoped that close dialogue between inter-parliamentary and private sector representatives will continue.
