The Cambodian U19 women’s football team left here last night for Indonesia to compete in the AFF U19 Women’s Championship 2023 scheduled from July 5 to 15.

Led by coach Prak Vuthy, the Cambodian team is in Group A along with host Indonesia, Laos, Singapore and Timor-Leste.

Group B includes Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore while Group C consists of Thailand, Myanmar and the Philippines.

Thanks to a two-week-long training camp and warm-up friendly matches, especially their firm commitment, the Cambodian women’s football team is ready for the AFF U19 Women’s Championship 2023, according to the coach.

Mr. Prak Vuthy expressed his strong hope that the Cambodian team will be able to get through the group qualification stage.
