President of the Cambodian National Assembly highly comments on the efforts of the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, H.E. Wang Wenbin, to attach himself to the Cambodian people.

Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary made the highlight when receiving the Chinese Ambassador on Aug. 2 at the NA Palace in Phnom Penh.

This is an important example for diplomats to take into account the local cultural context and voice of the people to inform development decision-making, she said.

H.E. Wang Wenbin thanked the Cambodian NA president for the appreciation, emphasising that he was determined to visit the 25 capital and provinces of Cambodia to better understand Cambodia’s development on the ground and build relationships with the local people.

The two sides also discussed further bilateral development cooperation, particularly on industry and technology, fisheries and rice corridors, as well as people-to-people relations.

Samdech Khuon Sudary was optimistic that H.E. Wang Wenbin will lev
erage the Cambodia-China relationship and cooperation to a new height for the mutual benefit of the two peoples and countries during his tenure in Cambodia.
