FAHMI EXTENDS CONDOLENCES TO BERNAMA CEO OVER BROTHER’S DEMISE


KUALA LUMPUR: Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil expressed his condolences to Malaysian National News Ahency (Bernama) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin and the entire family on the demise of her brother, entertainment journalist Kamal Huzaini Kamaluddin, better known as Huzz, today.

Huzz, 58, died of colorectal cancer.

Fahmi posted on Facebook that he too was sad and prayed that Allah SWT shower His mercy upon him and place him among the righteous.

“Huzz was very well-known in the 80s and 90s. His articles were always keenly awaited by fans of the entertainment industry,’ he said.

Earlier, Nur-ul Afida, when contacted, confirmed that Huzz died at their brother’s home in Bertam Perdana, Penang at about 6.10 pm.

She said his remains will be laid to rest at the Permatang Langsat Muslim Cemetery in Kepala Batas, Penang.
