Flock to reserve Phulanka durians to Chaiyaphum orchards

Chaiyaphum, July 5 – If you don’t reserve, you won’t get to eat! Customers have been ordering Phulanka durian in Chaiyaphum since the beginning of the year. Orchard owners have been gradually cutting ripe fruit and delivering them, while durian orchards are bustling with tourists coming to buy some to take home as souvenirs.

In the durian orchards in Tambon Tha Hin Ngom, Amphoe Mueang, Chaiyaphum Province, tourists and customers who love the taste of durian here will be seen coming to see the orchards and buy durians to take back as souvenirs. Including Sukanya Durian Orchard in Ban Sap Sombun, which has started cutting ripe durians to sell to customers. But what is different from other places is the name tags attached to the durians of various sizes on the trees. When asked, the answer is that they are the names of customers who have ordered durians since the beginning of the year.

Mrs. Supanya, the durian orchard owner, and her son took us on a tour of the durian orchard planted at the foot of Phu Laen K
ha Mountain, so they named the durians here as the durians of the Phu Laen Kha mountain range. They are planted almost 1,000 meters above sea level. There are both Monthong and Kanyao durians that are starting to ripen and are ready to be cut and sold to customers who have reserved them at a price of 200 baht per kilogram. It can be said that if you don’t reserve them, you won’t get to eat them. Phu Laen Kha durians have a unique local identity, with a sweet and delicious taste, crispy outside and soft inside, and a mild, non-pungent smell. Therefore, they are popular among durian tasters. This year, they have received a better response from customers than last year.
