Heydar Aliyev Center to host concert by pianist Mark Damisch


BAKU: The Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku will host the Mouvement concert program by renowned US pianist Mark Damisch as part of his world tour on August 19, Trend reports.

The concert will feature beloved works by famous composers such as Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, Frédéric Chopin, and Claude Debussy.

Damisch performed his first piano concerto at the age of seven. By the age of 19, he embarked on a world tour, during which he also performed with the Vienna Boys’ Choir.

The pianist’s illustrious career includes several world tours and hundreds of concerts. He has given piano recitals in over 70 countries, including Africa, Germany, Australia, China, India, Israel, Egypt, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, New Zealand, and Greece.

In addition to his musical career, Mark Damisch trained as a lawyer and worked in the legal field. After a 19-year hiatus from the stage, he returned to performing in the summer of 2000.
