H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, on Oct. 16 visited the water supply station of Rithyrath Water Investment in Kampong Chhnang province and donated 200 water meters to support families in need.

Rithyrath Water Investment currently provides clean water to 1,400 families across 27 villages in Kampong Trolach commune, pointed out the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI).

Some families have yet to connect to the water supply network due to financial constraints, the source said, stressing that the donation will enable 200 additional families to access clean water.

During the handover of the water meters, H.E. Hem Vanndy encouraged residents to improve public health by using clean water in their daily activities and food processing.

H.E. Minister also urged them to cooperate in maintaining the water distribution network and to report any leaks in order to reduce water loss.
