Man Reported Missing From Bukit Jambul Home Since Saturday

GEORGE TOWN, Worried family members of a young man are seeking cooperation from the public to help locate Muhammad Danish Syamil Jusfaridan, 21, who was reported missing after leaving his house in Bukit Jambul near here since Saturday.

His father, Jusfaridan Azizat, 48, said Danish, who is the eldest of two brothers, left his ex-wife’s house in Bukit Jambul and said he was heading to Nibong Tebal to find a friend, but did not return until today, while calls to his mobile phone have not been successful.

‘We have also contacted his friends but they do not know his whereabouts, this is the first time that Muhammad Danish has not returned home and uncharacteristically failed to be contacted for a long time,’ he said today.

Jusfaridan said he had lodged a police report regarding the disappearance of Muhammad Danish at around midnight yesterday and hoped that his son would be found soon.

According to him, Muhammad Danish left the house on the day of the incident wearing a t-shirt and black pants astride a Yama
ha Y15ZR motorcycle with registration plate PRF 704.

He appealed to anyone with information about Muhammad Danish to contact him at 012 535 1349 or the nearest police station.

Meanwhile, North East police chief ACP Razlam Ab Hamid when contacted by Bernama, confirmed receiving a report on the youth’s disappearance and said efforts to locate him were underway.
