Military Attaché to Russian Embassy Bids Farewell to Defence Minister and RCAF Chief


Military Attaché to Russian Embassy in Cambodia H.E. Vitaly Luchshev bids farewell to Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Minister of National Defence, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF), reaffirming continuous cooperation.

In the farewell meeting with DPM and Minister of National Defence H.E. Tea Seiha on Aug. 20, H.E. Vitaly Luchshev thanked the the ministry for its good cooperation, making his diplomatic mission in Cambodia a success.

He was optimistic that the cooperation between the defence ministries of Cambodia and Russia will continue to expand, including through his successor.

H.E. Tea Seiha highly valued the long-standing support and military cooperation, particularly in human resource development and technical equipment provision.

In a meeting with RCAF Commander-in-Chief General Vong Pisen on Aug. 21, H.E. Vitaly Luchshev recalled the milestones and achievements of his cooperation with RCAF during the three-year tenure in Cambodia to jointly safeguard
peace and national security.

General Vong Pisen commended the hard work of H.E. Vitaly Luchshev to strengthen military cooperation between Cambodia and Russia.

He encouraged the Military Attaché to the Russian Embassy to further join hands with Cambodia, especially on the exchange of information to handle transnational crimes, human and illicit drug trafficking, and disaster response.
