KUANTAN, Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail returned to work today at Wisma Sri Pahang here after nearly a month and a half on medical leave due to surgery at the National Heart Institute (IJN) on June 7.

In a post on his official Facebook page today, Wan Rosdy said that he resumed work by chairing the weekly state executive council (MMK) meeting.

‘After a long break following the surgery at IJN on June 7, Alhamdulillah, today I started my duties by chairing the MMK meeting at Wisma Sri Pahang, Kuantan.

‘I have also presented the appointment and transfer letters of department heads under the Pahang State Secretary’s administration, which will take effect on Aug 1, 2024,’ read the posting.

On June 14, Wan Rosdy was allowed to return home after his surgery at IJN. It is understood that he will attend meetings and be in the office but will not engage in any outdoor programmes.
