Seventeen achieves over 90 bln won in ticket sales in 6 months


K-pop boy group Seventeen has secured a spot on the Billboard Boxscore Top Tours chart, ranking 16th with ticket sales surpassing 90 billion won (US$67.5 million) from its world tour last year.

Fellow K-pop group Enhypen also cracked the chart, placing 34th with sales nearing 50 billion won.

According to Billboard’s semiannual Boxscore report released Thursday (U.S. time), Seventeen drew approximately 552,000 fans over 18 performances, making it the highest-ranking K-pop group on the chart. The report covers a period from Oct. 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024. Ticket sales from the shows came to 93.4 billion won.

The group had a five-dome tour in Japan and stadium shows in cities that included Bangkok and Macao last year.

Enhypen’s “Fate” and “Fate Plus in Seoul” tours attracted around 198,000 fans in total, resulting in $35.5 million in sales.

Seventeen plans to hold a world tour in the second half of the year, including stops in the United States, while Enhypen is set to tour Japan and Indonesia from June to September.
