SPM Hun Sen Appreciates Win-Win Policy for National Progress and Development

Samdech Akka Moha Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has spoken highly his Win-Win Policy for the country’s rapid progress and development.

The outgoing Premier made the appreciation while he and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Wang Wentian were presiding over the inauguration ceremony of the third Ring Road of some 53 kilometres long and 22 metres wide, linking the Win-Win Blvd roundabout in Sangkat Chom Chao 3, Khan Pursenchey, Phnom Penh to National Road No. 1 in Dei Ith commune, Kean Svay district, Kandal province this morning,

He took the opportunity to thank the Chinese government and people for their key contribution to the development of Cambodia so far, especially in building and upgrading physical infrastructure across the country, including the third ring road.

The construction of the US$273-million-worth third ring road, which kicked off on Jan. 14, 2019 and was fully completed in June 2023, was funded by a concessional loan from the Government of China and a budget of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

The third ring road will contribute significantly to further easing cross-border transport, promoting international trade and turning the surrounding areas into a development zone.
