Visitors Impressed by Siem Reap’s Botanical Garden

Visitors to Angkor Botanical Garden in Cambodia’s Siem Reap province have enjoyed a fresh experience and sweet memories.

Mr. Theang Thai, a resident of the province, said he was amazed by the stunning beauty of the garden, home to countless kinds of rare plants that he had never seen before.

He hopes the garden will continue to be as beautiful for other Cambodians as well as the next generation to experience and learn from.

Another Siem Reap resident, Mr. Chea Mengly, joyfully described an interesting use of Khmer style for the design of the garden, adding that the greenery, blooming flowers, and the place’s fragrance deeply impressed him.

He encouraged those who have not yet visited the garden to take time to get refreshed by it.

Established by the APSARA National Authority, the Angkor Botanical Garden has become another new tourism product in Siem Reap province for both locals and foreign visitors. The Garden has recently won the Travellers’ Choice Awards of TripAdvisor.

It features thousands of plan
ts and trees, and the garden is sectioned into areas of herbs and spices, flowers, and palms, among others.

It is also home to a mini-zoo for turtles, peacocks, pigeons, rabbits, and other wild birds.
