The Cambodian and Indian men’s national volleyball teams will have a match tomorrow at 18:00 (Cambodian time), the first match for Group C at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou city of Zhejiang province, the People Republic of China.
For the second match, the Cambodian team will meet South Korean counterpart on Sept. 21 at 13:30 (Cambodian time).
For volleyball, there are 19 participating countries dividing into six groups and each group has three teams, except Group F which has four teams.
Cambodian men’s national volleyball team earned a bronze medal from the SEA Games 2022 in Vietnam, and a silver medal at the SEA Games 2023 in Cambodia, according to Dr. Aing Sereypiseth, Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation of Cambodia.
The Cambodian volleyball team returns to the Asian Games in China after over 50 years of absence, he added.
China is going to host the 19th Asian Games from Sept. 28 to Oct. 8, 2023.
