Naypyidaw: Myanmar aims to achieve growth momentum in foreign trade, targeting over US$29 billion in the 2026-2027 fiscal year, reported Xinhua quoting The Global New Light of Myanmar on Sunday.According to Nam News Network, Myanmar will endeavour to achieve US$15.3 billion in exports and US$14.7 billion in imports in the 2026-2027 fiscal year, the report said, citing the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organisation.Additionally, Myanmar's foreign trade is expected to expand by about US$1 billion year over year, reaching US$30 billion in the 2027-2028 fiscal year, US$31.2 billion in 2028-2029, US$32.1 billion in 2029-2030, and US$33 billion in 2030-2031, it said.The country sets its foreign trade targets depending on export and import conditions, it added.
