A non-profit association of Vietnamese businesses in South Korea officially launched Thursday, officials said, with the aim of promoting economic cooperation between the two countries.The Business Association of Vietnamese in Korea, sponsored by the Vietnamese Embassy in South Korea held a launch ceremony in Seoul, after being approved by the Vietnamese foreign ministry in March.The association -- made up of 40 Vietnamese companies in South Korea -- is designed to support such businesses and enhance bilateral ties between the two countries.At the ceremony, Vietnam's Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son called the association's establishment a milestone symbolizing the growth of Vietnamese businesses in the country, expressing expectations for the group to play a leading role.Source: Yonhap News Agency
