H.E. KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia received Mr. Andrew Herrup, Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America in Phnom Penh, at the ministry on July 18.The Meeting discussed potential cooperation areas under the ASEAN-U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and priorities as Cambodia will resume the role of country coordinator for ASEAN-U.S. Dialogue Relation (2024-2027) after the ASEAN Post Ministerial Conference with the United States on July 26, 2024 in Vientiane, Lao PDR.Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interests and concerns.Earlier on July 17, H.E. KUNG Phoak also met separately with H.E. SANTO Darmosumarto, Ambassador of Indonesia, and H.E. ONN Shaharuddin, Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia.In the meetings, they discussed the preparation for the ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting and the 57th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meetings and Relat ed Meetings to be held from July 23 to 27, 2024 in Laos.
