KUALA LUMPUR, The gold futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives rebounded to close higher, tracking the COMEX gold prices.At the close, spot month July 2024 contract improved to US$2,413.80 per troy ounce from US$2,406.60 per troy ounce on Tuesday, while August 2024, September 2024, October 2024, December 2024, and February 2025 increased to US$2,427.20 per troy ounce from yesterday's US$2,420.00 per troy ounce.Volume fell to nine lots from 22 lots yesterday, while open interest narrowed to 33 contracts from 47 contracts previously.The price of physical gold was at US$2,403.10 per troy ounce, according to the London Bullion Market Association's afternoon fix on July 23.Source: BERNAMA News Agency
