LAZADA OFFERS FIVE INNOVATIVE TOOLS TO HELP SELLERS, SHOPPERS

KUALA LUMPUR: The e-commerce platform Lazada is offering five innovative tools designed to help sellers boost sales and assist shoppers in saving more.

These tools include Lazada Promotion Tools, LazCoins Discounts, Lazada Special Free Shipping Programme, Lazada Sponsored Solutions and Lazada Campaign Participation.

In a statement today, Lazada emphasised that in a post-pandemic world, e-commerce presents a significant opportunity for sellers to expand their businesses. However, with the rising cost of living becoming a major concern for consumers, many prioritise saving more.

“To effectively meet these consumer needs, e-commerce sellers must provide value-oriented options that empower shoppers to maximise their budgets while ensuring convenience through personalised shopping experiences,” read the statement.

Promotion plays a crucial role in capturing buyers’ attention and Lazada Promotion Tools enable sellers to leverage attractive discounts through Store Flash Sales and Seller Vouchers. This strategy a

The LazCoins Discount rewards frequent users with discounts and exclusive gifts, enhancing product visibility and driving traffic to sellers’ stores.

“Lazada’s birthday campaign in 2024 saw three times more coins redeemed compared to last year, indicating that consumers are becoming more adept at leveraging promotions,” it said.

Additionally, the Lazada Special Free Shipping Programme helps sellers attract potential buyers and increase average spending, as it is a key driver of purchasing intent. Surveys indicate that 46 per cent of shoppers prioritise the free shipping option while browsing.

Regarding Lazada Sponsored Solutions, the statement highlighted two top solutions – Sponsored Discovery, which targets potential shoppers by boosting store visibility in Lazada’s search and recommendation placements.

Regarding Lazada Campaign Participation, the statement highlighted that participating in Lazada’s campaigns presents significant opportunities for sellers to increase visibility among consumers with high purchasing intent, thereby driving substantial sales growth.

Furthermore, the statement emphasised that Lazada provides valuable resources for sellers, including Lazada University. This platform offers free online courses aimed at enhancing skills and knowledge to thrive in the dynamic and rapidly evolving eCommerce landscape.
