LG Innotek Q3 net profit down 18.7 pct to 105 bln won

LG Innotek Co. on Wednesday reported its third-quarter net profit of 105 billion won (US$75.9 million), down 18.7 percent from a year earlier.The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 130.4 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 183.4 billion won a year ago. Sales rose 19.3 percent to 5.68 trillion won.The operating profit was 47.4 percent lower than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
