Cambodian Minister of Information H.E. Neth Pheaktra has highlighted the significant contribution of Cambodia-China media cooperation contributing to deepening the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
H.E. Minister made the remarks in his speech at the Cambodia-China High-Level Media Forum and 3rd Cambodia-China Cultural Exchange Forum held here on Nov. 17.
Under the bilateral Diamond Hexagon Cooperation Framework, Cambodia-China media has played an important role in sharing knowledge, information and public opinion management for the common interest of the two nations, he said.
H.E. Neth Pheaktra highlighted the media cooperation between the two countries, one of which is the cooperation to broadcast news via Cambodia-China Friendship Radio, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The minister encouraged China’s state media outlets to further strengthen the cooperation with legal media outlets in Cambodia on human resources training, news coverage, cultural exchange, and technology to promote the cooperation between Cambodia and China in all sectors to achieve the common destiny.
The Cambodia-China High-Level Media Forum and 3rd Cambodia-China Cultural Exchange Forum was jointly organised by Cambodia-China Friendship Radio and the Cambodian Ministry of Information at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.
