Cambodia has urged Singapore for cooperation, especially in building technical capacity for Cambodian skills trainers to the level of Singapore.H.E. Heng Sour, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training, made the request in a meeting with Mr. Tuan Kee Aw, Deputy Principal/CEO of Temasek Polytechnic, in Phnom Penh, on July 22.The cooperation between the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) and Singapore's Temasek Polytechnic is necessary to further increase the levels of technical skill training to meet the needs of the emerging labour market.Mr. Tuan Kee Aw firmly supported the ministry's initiative to strengthen the cooperation crucial for further advancement of the sector in the country.The two also spoke highly of the ongoing good relationship, which brings about blossoming cooperation in all sectors between the two countries.Source: Agence Kampuchea Presse
