Samsung Card Co. on Friday reported its first-quarter net income of 177.9 billion won (US$129.5 million), up 22.3 percent from a year earlier.
Operating income for the January-March period was 241.2 billion won, up 25.8 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Sales rose 3.4 percent to 1.1 trillion won.
