Cambodia, New Zealand Satisfied with Achievement of Their Relations


Cambodia and New Zealand are satisfied with the achievement of their good and long-standing relations, while they have reached the 65th Anniversary of diplomatic relations.

The satisfaction was expressed during the meeting here on Jan. 25 between H.E. PRAK Nguon Hong, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC), and H.E. Jonathan KINGS, Ambassador of New Zealand to Cambodia with residence in Bangkok, according to a press release of the MFAIC made public this afternoon.

On they occasion, both sides also discussed priority areas of cooperation, including human resource development, demining, tourism, health, trade and investment, mutual support on international arena, and agreed to explore ways to enhance bilateral relations as well as reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, they exchanged views on sustainable economic growth, tourist attractions, people-to-people exchanges, and iss
ues of common concerns such as climate change, regional and international issues.
