The death toll of COVID-19 has reached 10,061 in Myanmar, after 330 more deaths were reported yesterday, according to a release from the Ministry of Health. A total of 3,689 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the past 24 hours, bringing the tally in the country to 306,354, the release said. According to the ministry’s figures, a total of 217,142 patients have been discharged from hospitals, and over 3.18 million samples have been tested for COVID-19, so far. – Myanmar vaccinated over 1.8 million people for COVID-19, as of July 21 this year, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Sen-Gen Min Aung Hlaing said, in his televised message to the public yesterday morning. “Vaccination was given in all regions and states from Jan 27 to Jul 21 this year, over 1.8 million people, 6.08 percent of the target population, were vaccinated two times,” Min Aung Hlaing said.
